  Hi everyone. In room 11 we have been learning similes and here is a example of me doing my teacher. 

We have been doing Onomatopoeia  and here is a onomatopoeia to watch.

Little red riding hood

                                               THE LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

 Little Red Riding Hood lives in a small village By grandma's house. When she goes outside she wears a red cape, and the people in the village call her Little Red Riding Hood. 

One day Little Red Riding Hoods, mother said to Little Riding Hood “ Your grandma is sick, so take this basket of food and go to grandmas, and don’t talk to strangers. Little Red Riding Hood put her cape and goes of to grandmas.

Little Red Riding Hood knows the way to grandma's house but she stopped to pick some flowers for grandma. 

When she was picking flowers she saw a shadow, of the big bad woof. She turned around but she did not get scared, and forget her mothers words to not talk to strangers.

She telled the wolf where she was going and kept walking and the big bad woof took a shortcut to grandma’s house.

The big bad woof entered in and ate grandma, and wore grandma's glasses, hat and night dress. Little red riding hood entered in and saw grandma. The woof said come closer so she did and said to grandma “ What big eyes you got” said little red riding hood. Grandma said the better to see you.

Then little red riding hood said “What big ears you got” said little red riding hood. The woof said the better to hear you come closer she said. So little red riding hood took one more step forward.

Then she said “ What big mouth you got” she said then the woof said the better to eat you. Little red riding hood screamed and the woof came closer and ate little red riding hood.

One man was walking and heard little red riding hood scream. He ran and opened the door and saw the woof with a big tummy. The man flipped the woof and came out grandma and little red riding hood.

The man had an axe and killed the woof.Grandma and little red riding hood said thank you and the man went of to throw the woof in the forest.

Little red riding hood and grandma had a nice afternoon with a cup of tea.

Viking Village

 I was sleeping and when I opened my eyes I was  in a Vikings boat near the shore. 

There is an enormous Viking Village. I look around and see wooden houses.

 I saw old rickety and wobbly roads made of wooden planks, and saw a big enormous green rocky mountain, near a crystal sea. I spotted  dragons on every wooden house and shields to protect them. When I was about to finish looking around the viking village people were making strong axes shields and shiny swords near the crystal sea.

I could  hear the blades being sharpened smoothly and then next to the shields being designed.  The viking villagers were talking about stuff, I heard that one of them went to the rocky mountain and went there before the sun was about to go down.

As I walk along I could smell the wooden logs in the fire pit burning and when I got near a spark jumps out and starts to following me. 

I could smell the yummy food cooking in the rusty patio, and smoke flying in the sky.

The calm breeze is blowing on my face.  I could feel the rocks by each and every house I pass

I could taste the yummy food they made on the patio, and  after that I went to the sea and drank the fresh water.

I could taste the fresh fruit when I climbed the mountain and brought some to the villagers to make them happy and live a long life.

Visual Pepeha

 We have been doing Visual Pepeha. This term we are going to practice it of by heart.

Life ED Learning Teamwork

Room 11 went to Life Ed learning teamwork for two days.

We have been learning tattling and telling also we have been playing some fun games, like knots and flinch, an we heard Harold jokes, also we had to solve a puzzle

The next day Siobhan who tell us the fun activities to do she promised us to a dance party an we did it the next day.
