Mega air and Haiku

 Mega air

Last week on Friday we went to Mega air  with the year four, fives and sixes. We went to mega air for EOTC week. Room 11, 12 and half of Room 9 was group 2 and the rest were group 1 so group one went to mega air and group two went swimming in our own school pool.

I liked going swimming because we get to swim for half an hour or an hour. After swimming we got ready to go to Mega air and when everyone was changed group 2 had morning tea. We finished our morning tea and took our water bottles and headed off to Mega air. We had to walk there because it was close and it took a long time to get there. Because we were walking we thought that it was going to be a long time to get there, but if we were in a car it would not feel that long to get there. When we reached there we had to take off our shoes and shocks so we didn't slip but if you had gripped shocks you were allowed to wear them. Everyone sat down and then a man from Mega air introduced himself and then he put a video so we know what are the safety rules and one of them was to land on both feet and if you don’t follow the rule you will bend your foot.

After the safety rules the man said you can go now and then everyone went up the stairs. There was so much stuff that I did not know what to do first. I looked around, jumped on the trampoline and then saw the air bag and that was my favourite thing to do in Mega air. If you look at the pictures below, the airbag in two pictures is mine and one picture is my best friend Marybreth jumping into the air bag.We had so much fun that we did not want to leave, and then I sat on something and then I saw my teacher Mrs Clifford doing backflips. I watched until she finished doing the backflips.

It was so hot there that I nearly fainted but it was good that it was nearly time to leave. We stayed there for a couple more minutes and then we left. When we were coming to Mega air it felt that the temperature  outside was 27 degrees and there was no more water in mine and Marbreths water bottles. We have reached school and it was a tiring day. We had lunch and then we played. We were so tired after jumping and walking to Mega air and back. When we were going there it took longer than coming back to school.

Thank you for reading my Mega air and at the bottom there is a Haiku of Mega air. I hope you have a good time reading this and my Mega air Haiku.

Rangoli

Today is diwali and our class did some rangoli on sumopaint and this is my rangoli on sumopaint.

I made to guess which one you like comment below

Camping is better then a hotel

Camping is better than staying in a hotel.

introduction

I strongly agree that camping is better than a hotel. I think there are so many examples why camping is better, and I would like to explain some now.

 Camping costs less money.

It’s not as expensive as a hotel for many reasons. So if you don't have much money it is a good holiday to have.

For example, if you need food you can make your own food from home and bring it to the campfire instead of getting a waiter in the hotel because that will take some time to be ready and cost more.

In addition, you don’t need to pay for a room in a hotel because in a forest you can pick a spot anywhere.  But most importantly there are some places where you can’t visit so don’t go there.

Another reason is you can make a fire

Sitting around a fire is cosy because the fire can light up the place where you are and you can get warm.

You can make the best thing in the world, that's marshmallows on the fire.

At night if you're feeling cold a campfire is there for you so you can keep yourself cosy and warm.

In fact your food will be ready in a quick moment, also nice and warm .

Finally,  when you are surrounded by nature it will be peaceful.

Too Whoo!!! You can hear owls at night but sometimes it can feel annoying if you can’t sleep while the owls are chirping.

I prefer to be careful because sometimes if one part of your body is not covered with the blanket the owl might poke wherever the part of the body is opened . But if your feet are covered there is no need to worry and plus you will be safe.

One last example, when you're walking it's good if you have nature around you and if you're scared of being alone the birds and animals will be there you don’t need to be scared.

Conclusion

If you're planning to go somewhere, go camping instead of going to the hotel. If you're  going camping you picked the right choice because camping is fun and hope you agree with me that camping is better than a hotel.

When I went camping it was my first time and I went with my friend Alysha. We had so much fun that Alysha ate all the marshmallows and did not leave any more for me plus she ate all the chocolate. My advice would be that I should bring lots more marshmallows.
