This year I started doing Winter Learning Journey and this is my second activity and its how to play Ice Hockey.
- The game starts at the centre circle and the referee meets the two teams.
- The referee drops the puck in between the two centre players, then both players then both players scrap for there team.
Rules of ice hokey.
1.Not allowed to use your hands or feet.
2. Not allowed to kick the puck into the net.
3. There is only maximum 20 players.
4. The game allows unlimited substitutions.
5. To score a goal the puck must have to go over the goal line
6. The entire puck has to cross the line to get an goal.
7. The players can score a goal with any part of there stick but not with the hand or feet.
8. The game is only for 20 minutes.
9. There will be given a free shot from behind.
10. Teams are not forced to play more then two players below six players at any time.
11. If the same team get the penalty it is suspended until the first penalty expires.

Thanks for explaining how to play Shreeya.It sounds like ice hockey would be a fun game.I'm not sure if it's a game I'd want to play though.
ReplyDeleteWhat happens if you fall over?...I think it would be hard to get back up.
What happens if you go really fast but can't stop in time and you end up going over the wall?.
What happens if the ice melts and you end up in a large puddle of water?.
Maybe I'll just stick to roller blading.....

ReplyDeleteNamaste Shreeya I like the post because I play hockey for winter sports too but I'm not that good at ice hockey because I'm trying to learn how to skate.Oh and I'm scared because I might fell on the ice and everyone will laugh at me.
