I am a Year 4 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My teacher is Ms Clifford. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
Chris here again, from the Summer Learning Journey! Nice work on completing the sixth, and final, Nanogirl task! Did you have fun doing it?
This looks like an awesome game! Ring tosses are so much fun, had you played this before? Did you know the traditional version of this game was done with horseshoes?
One way you could have made this a bit easier is to make the rings a bit bigger, or the poles a bit thinner? Because, your throws were great- so more of them should have landed, which means you might have made the game too hard! The ball and cup one worked really well! Have you tried getting your family to play these games?
It’s been so cool reading everything you’ve posted, and we here at the Summer Learning Journey team think it’s just amazing that you kept posting these even though we didn’t see them until this week! Pai mahi!
Hopefully we get to see some more posts from you before the end of this week!
REPLY FROM SHREEYA (tech problems - can't access her Blog now) 1.Kia ora Chris Yes I had fun doing the ring toss game. It was the best.
2.Yes Chris it is an awesome game. Sorry no Chris, I did not no know how to play the traditional version of this game, but I did not know it was by horseshoes.
3.No, when I made the game I just went outside and videoed the game. My family did not play this game. But there is a Xbox game called carnival and there is a ring toss game in there too and my family used to play carnival but now we don;t but it was fun.
I like that you have spent some time making these games Shreeya. I think for the ring toss game you may need to use something bigger for the hoops. I like that idea of trying to throw an object up with one hand and try to catch it in the other.
These games are certainly one way to keep active during these holidays.Well done.
Kia ora Shreeya!

Hi Chris. That might be my fault. I may not have emphasised that you needed to have your labels to be picked up.
